Where Atoboy and Atomix’s JP and Ellia Park Love to Eat at the Bar in New York
Where do chefs and restaurateurs go and, more importantly, where do they love to eat? In Resy Regulars, we ask Resy chefs and industry folks to tell us where they’re regulars.
If there’s one thing you can trust restaurant power couple Junghyun “JP” and Jeongeun “Ellia” Park with, it’s knowing where to eat. They’re the owners and operators of several very successful — and very delicious — restaurants like Michelin-starred Atomix, Atoboy, Naro, Naro Terrace, and Seoul Salon, slowly taking over the city with their fine-dining Korean riffs. This month, they’re also welcoming a new New York neobistro with Australian influences, Acru. Located in New York’s Greenwich Village, it’s helmed by their former Atomix chef de cuisine, Daniel Garwood.
For the Parks, the bar is the place to be when you’re dining out. It’s more casual, more intimate, and more often, where you’re more likely to snag a seat. So, they lent us their advice on the best spots in the city to grab dinner and a very nice glass of wine while sitting at the bar.
