Where do chefs and restaurateurs go and, more importantly, where do they love to eat? In Resy Regulars, we ask Resy chefs and industry folks to tell us where they’re regulars.

Not only are Jeremy Salamon and Michael Herman the owners of Agi’s Counter, one of the most beloved (and acclaimed) restaurants in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, but they’ve also been a couple for nine years. As such, they know how to have a good date night, and were generous enough to share their go-tos with us.

The pair first met on Tinder, when Salamon was working as a chef in the East Village. “I remember running to the bathroom to message him on the app to make it seem like I was more available than my job let me be,” Salamon recalls. The rest, as they say, is history.

The spots they choose for dates tend to lean toward the comfortable, with good food, good vibes, and good amaro. Here, in their own words, they share their best spots for a dinner date night across the city.
