The official opening party kicks off at Spotlite Detroit and the experience covers six different stages, each with their own lineup. Retro Revelry: Noreen Neubar Vintage and other local vendors are bringing all things vintage, retro, and antique to Antiquing While Drinking. The event will be hosted in the biergarten of Cadieux Cafe on May 18, wih a mobile coffee bar on-site in addition to the cafe’s staples.
Flower Day: Begins at 7 a.m. on May 19th in the sheds at Eastern Market and features Metro Detroit Flower Growers Association vendors from all over the Midwest. Visitors can shop for blooms before or after enjoying a variety of food options. They can grab coffee from Anthology, bloody marys and buckets of mussels from Vivio’s, breakfast from Louie’s Ham & Corned Beef, gyros from Mitsos Greek Food & Coffee, or burgers from Cutters Bar & Grill. Live entertainment is available at Berts Marketplace. Riopelle will be closed to accommodate the crowds, who can also enjoy snacks at Midnight Temple, craft beer from Eastern Market Brewing Company, and cocktails from Detroit City Distillery.
