  • A Staten Island institution for pizza, known for their super-thin crust. They've also got an East Village location that does delivery, but also has cocktails if you want a proper sit-down meal.

  • Another unanimous favorite among the New Yorkers we surveyed, Scarr's is respected for its dedication to the craft of pizza making. It's a newer spot that captures the nostalgia of New York pizza perfectly.

Simò Pizza

  • Neapolitan-style pies are the main draw here. Jenny Mollen loves the gluten-free pizzas here, especially.

Singas Famous Pizza & Grill

  • The pan pizza here is nostalgic for DJ Rekha. The original location, opened in Elmhurst, is no longer, but you can find Singas in Brooklyn as well as Long Island City, the Upper East Side, and Jersey City these days.

Sofia Pizza Shoppe

  • If you find yourself in Midtown East, do grab a slice here. They're known for their spinach dip pie.

Song’E Napule

  • A favorite of The Za Report's Miriam Weiskind because it feels like being in Naples when you're there.

Sottocasa Pizzeria

  • Another beloved neighborhood spot for wood-fired Neapolitan pies.

  • Another late-night, post-club favorite of Jason Biggs in his younger years.
