Now on Resy: Sushidelic, Brooklyn Chop House, and More Local Favorites
From a Soho sushi spot from a Japanese artist to a plant-based French bistro in the West Village, these are just a few of the beloved New York spots that are now bookable on Resy. Right this way.
Note: This list will be updated regularly with new additions each month, so be sure to check back often. For New York’s newest restaurant openings, head here.
SUSHIDELIC SOHO
Newly added!
It’s sushi meets all the colors of the rainbow, from a man who knows best: Sebastian Masuda, the Japanese artist known for his whimsical artwork and now, a kawaii-centric sushi spot with design to match.
Brooklyn Chop House – Downtown FIDI Financial District

Newly added!
Only in New York does a chop house serve LSD. In this case, that stands for lobster, steak, and Peking duck — all combined into one decadent feast that just might have you seeing colors. The rest of their standard menu is anything but, with dumplings, satay, and noodles alongside the usual chops and steaks.

Delice & Sarrasin Greenwich Village
Newly added!
This spot is ideal for anyone who feels like they’re missing out on New York’s French bistro craze because they don’t eat meat — it’s totally vegan. Think oyster mushroom “escargots,” cold pea “steak” tartare, and cashew-based French cheeses.
The Smith – Lincoln Square Lincoln Square
Newly added!
You know the drill — you’re here for the skillet mac and cheese, martinis, and shrimp cocktail that made the original East Village location famous. Don’t forget the giant “quarter pounder” chocolate chip cookies for dessert, either.
IWAK Sushi + Kitchen Brooklyn
Newly added!
Head here for an expansive menu of sushi rolls and entrées like tonkotsu ramen and miso-glazed chicken. And don’t forget the mochi.
Republic Latin Fusion Williamsburg

Newly added!
This is a bright spot both literally and figuratively, with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a perfect backdrop for housing tacos, chaufa (Peruvian fried rice), and churrasco fries while you keep the caipirinhas flowing.

Little More Tribeca New York
Newly added!
This Tribeca bar breathes life into its storied Reade Street space with creative cocktails (think mezcal-chocolate milk punch and cloudberry-rhum daiquiris) alongside an enviable menu of little (ha) bar bites and more (ha) substantial things, like smash burgers and lobster mac and cheese.
Claire's Kitchen Cafe Upper West Side
Newly added!
For a wine bar with a Mediterranean-leaning menu and a killer happy hour that includes entrées ($19 with beer or wine!), head to Claire’s. Expect dips galore, Greek salads, fluffy frena, and a pleasingly spiced sangria on the cocktail front.
Tiny's Cantina Prospect Heights
Newly added!
The menu at Tiny’s is anything but — there’s a long list of tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and Tequila flights that almost guarantee something everyone will like. As such, head here with a group (because nobody can say no to guacamole).
Morgan's Brooklyn Barbecue Prospect Heights/Brooklyn
Newly added!
Good barbecue is few and far between north of Virginia, but thanks to Morgan’s, you don’t need to take a road trip just for ribs. Come hungry — you’ll want to order the brisket “cheesesteak” and a loaded mac and cheese, for good measure.
The Ribbon Upper West Side
Newly added!
This Southern French-inspired bistro has been serving the neighborhood for more than a decade, so you know you’re in good hands. Order the escargot, French onion soup, and, trust us, the golden fried chicken.
Chavela's Crown Heights

Newly added!
Because it’s one of Brooklyn’s most beloved neighborhood restaurants — and their mole is serious. Order the sultry sauce with enchiladas or tacos, and definitely get some guacamole for the table, along with several margaritas.

Sozai Japanese Restaurant (Izakaya Ramen) Midtown Manhattan
We think the ramen, glistening and cloudy with braised pork belly and bamboo, is the greatest draw here. Even so, their fried ube, “dynamite” stuffed mussels, and long list of Japanese whiskies doesn’t hurt one bit.
Trapizzino New York
The city’s purveyor of Rome’s favorite street snack helps liven the Lower East Side with espresso and apertivo, an enviable patio, those fluffiest of pizza pockets, and fresh pasta. Pro tip: Don’t overlook the trapizzini with oxtail, or the Doppia Panna, with Cantabrian anchovies.
The Clam Bar Greenwich Village
This isn’t your average seafood spot. The Clam Bar is no less than a bona fide speakeasy, where the dream team behind Carbone puts the swank into shellfish, while shaking some of the best cocktails in town.
Lungi Bar & Restaurant Upper East Side

Lungi serves a happily married blend of South Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine. No matter what you order, make sure to get extra hoppers (a super-thin rice flour and coconut pancake) to sop up your sauces. Pro tip: Come on Sundays for their special three-course Virundhu meal, served on a banana leaf.

Urban Cove Society & Kitchen Seaport
This Seaport spot is bright and friendly and churns out familiar favorites with a twist. Think smash burgers with Gruyère, an onion dip with potato chips, and fresh plates of both surf and turf. Also, Grandma’s banana bread pudding? We’ll take two.
Nightingale West Village
A plush, Art Deco-styled space with classic cocktails, wine flights, and snacks to pair? Say less. You’ll want to settle in and stay a while at this cozy cocktail den.
Mishka Soho New York
Eating at Mishka feels like eating at your Eastern European grandmother’s house, from the lovingly assertive service to the dining room artfully cluttered with treasures. Order the borscht, chicken Kiev, and assorted solenya (pickles and other salted snacks) for the table, and you’ll soon be homesick — whether you’ve stepped foot in that part of the world or not.
Bar Adore East Village

It’s a wine and sake listening bar that feels like your cool friend’s house. The menu is complete with a set of otsumami, or Japanese drinking snacks, like soy-marinated eggs, onigiri, and truffle edamame that are not to be missed. Sit back, listen up, and enjoy.

Mocha Burger Union Square Union Square
Soho’s totally kosher spot for towering beef, lamb, salmon, and mushroom burgers has made its way to a much larger Union Square space, complete with live DJs, a full bar, and TVs that are bound to be showing the game.
Mason Jar NYC Midtown East
Because here is barbecue that could rival the best of the South: platters full of brisket and baby back ribs (and everything in between), smoked and sauced wings, savory sandwiches, and an abundance of beer on tap. You’ll want to claim territory in front of one of many TVs for the next big event.
Eastwood New York
Eastwood feels like dining in your culinary-minded friend’s living room, complete with a small-but-mighty wine list, big sunny windows, and a vinyl playlist spinning all night long. Go for a Scotch egg, some schnitzel, and something from the draft list, and do feel free to snuggle in.
Sleepwalk Brooklyn

Music and burlesque events, “1920’s Shanghai-style” décor, and a daily happy hour that lasts until 7 p.m.? We’re already there. Pro tip: The chile crisp cheese quesadilla is a perfect snack.

Buka an Authentic Nigerian Restaurant Bedford-Stuyvesant
All you really need to know is that Buka’s known as one of the city’s essential spots for Nigerian food. Start with some lamb suya and the excellent pof pof (fried Nigerian doughnuts) before delving into heftier plates like the extra-comforting pepper soup (your choice of fish or goat) or any of the spicy tomato-based stews (we loved the smoked catfish), which are served with fufu.
Common Country Kips Bay
If you’re after the wide-open spaces of the wild, wild west (or looking for a place to wear your cowboy boots out), Common Country’s the place to be, with classic Americana fare to boot. Think excellent fried chicken, extra generous baskets of tots, and near-perfect buffalo wings.
Crave Sushi Bar Midtown East

With a 100% sustainable seafood philosophy (they only serve wild-caught and responsibly-farmed seafood), Crave Sushi Bar is the place to go deep on all sorts of rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. Don’t miss the happy hour deals for $6 hand rolls and $10 highballs.
