New York Contributor

Ellie is a freelance writer for Resy Editorial with a deep, unending love for too-dirty martinis, dives with good food, and reading at the bar. She’s worked in the industry since her first-ever job at the age of 15, doing everything from nightclub bottle service, fast food cashiering, diner waitressing, restaurant consulting, and Michelin-starred hosting. She’s lived in Brooklyn for almost 10 years, but grew up in a small(ish) town in Appalachia and didn’t eat her first oyster until the age of 21, a tragedy she’s since spent much time remedying.
