The March Hit List, Lunch Edition: Larry’s Smashburgers, Superba, Gamboge, and More

By

Hard to believe we’ve been living in a pandemic loop for a full year. With the rollercoaster of COVID-era dining still bringing ups and downs to the L.A. scene, we can honestly say things are starting to finally look a bit brighter. Just about every restaurant across the Southland started welcoming guests on outdoor patios and parklets again, expanding hours after the initial trepidation. That means places aren’t just open for dinner, but lunch and brunch, too. After all, we’re moving into prime patio season, with the sun begging for mornings and afternoons filled with breakfast burritos, smashburgers, and plates of burrata.

And with takeout and delivery still going strong, anyone not ready to dine out can still brighten their day with to-go options — including for lunch. This month’s Hit List will guide you to the best.
