Liz Grossman
Chicago Contributor
Liz started her journalism career as an intern at Chicago Magazine, and is thrilled to still be covering restaurants in the city she’s called home for 25 years. She’s the former editor-in-chief of Plate Magazine and co-founder of Between Bites, a live storytelling series for the food community. Besides writing for Resy, she regularly contributes to Chicago, Food Service Director, and Flavor & the Menu, and has served as a James Beard judge. A native of Wisconsin, she holds a special place in her heart for old-school supper clubs and is a brandy old fashioned purist (but appreciates all the adaptations on every menu!). She’ll eat pickles and capers all day, but won’t touch an olive.
