The Restaurant Nominees for the 2023 James Beard Awards

The finalists for the 2023 James Beard Foundation Awards have officially been revealed, with many of the country’s top restaurant industry professionals getting lots of love.

From Best New Restaurant nominees like Causa (D.C.) and Kann (Portland) to pioneers like Rob Rubba of D.C.’s Oyster Oyster (Outstanding Chef), Ellen Yin of Philadelphia’s High Street (Outstanding Restaurateur), and Dallas’ Lucia (Outstanding Restaurant), this year’s class reflects some of the best that the industry has to offer. And it’s always a great snapshot of restaurants right now. The awards will be handed out on June 5 in Chicago. Get the popcorn ready.
