The Diner Tour

The Amex Gold Card Pop-up Diner will make stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and New York. In each city, a local restaurant will serve up inventive riffs on classic diner cuisine. Plus, enjoy special on-site treats, like menu puzzles and crayons, custom soft-serve ice cream in a variety of flavors, and more. Note: Amex Gold Card Pop-Up Diner is an outdoor experience.

Event locations were secured in partnership with REEF, which transforms urban spaces into gathering places.

How it Works

There are two ways to experience Amex Gold Card Pop-up Diner:

• Dine-in, exclusively for American Express Gold Card Members: On-site dining in a dedicated outdoor seating area, featuring a four-course, prix fixe menu.
• The Counter, open to the general public: Featured menu items for pickup that can be reserved via Resy.

The Amex Gold Card Pop-Up Diner will serve dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, and brunch on Sundays.

Goldball Machine Giveaway Official Rules:

NO PURCHASE OR TICKET NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR TICKET WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. The Goldball Machine Giveaway (“Giveaway”) will be available during the Amex Gold Card® Pop-Up Diner (“Event”) hours or until all prizes have been exhausted, whichever is sooner (“Giveaway Period”). The Event will take place in the following cities: Chicago on September 10 – 12, 2021, in Philadelphia on September 17 – 19, 2021, in Washington, D.C. on September 24 – 26, 2021 and in New York City on October 1 – 3, 2021 (each, a “City”).

Who may play: Giveaway open only to American Express® Gold Card Members as of August 10, 2021 who are legal U.S. residents and at least 18 years of age at time of entry. Employees, officers and directors, their immediate family members (spouse, siblings, children and parents, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of Resy Network, Inc. (“Sponsor”), American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, printers, advertising and promotion agencies and those associated with the development, implementation or execution of this Giveaway are not eligible to participate. Individuals who are employed by any local, state or federal government office or agency, elected officials and individuals listed on the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List are also not eligible.

How to Play: To participate in the Giveaway, either (i) purchase a ticket to the Event at resy.com/diner taking place in one of the Cities and attend the Event, or (ii) to participate without buying a ticket, visit the Event in the applicable City during the Giveaway Period. Limit one (1) game play per person per City during the Giveaway Period. Eligible individuals will be permitted to play on a first come, first served basis.

How to Win: A Sponsor-representative will give you a token. Put the token in the Goldball Machine to receive a plastic ball. When you open the plastic ball, the paper inside will indicate you have won a prize, and you will be the potential winner of the prize indicated. Every player will win a prize. Prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to not award all prizes if it does not receive a sufficient number of game plays during the Giveaway Period.

Winner Requirements: Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days of date of notification in order to claim prize. If a potential winner fails to sign and return all required documents within the required time period or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, potential winner may be disqualified and forfeits the prize. Potential winners of certain prizes may be required to complete an Internal Revenue Service Form W-9. Any potential winner that fails to complete Form W-9 upon request by a Sponsor-representative forfeits the prize.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person found or suspected of tampering with the operation of the Giveaway, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person and void all game plays. Guests acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present, and that COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Guests acknowledge and agree, that by attending the event, you voluntarily assume any and all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 during the event, and they will not hold American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. liable for any illness or injury they may suffer by attending the event, including, without limitation, any illness due to COVID-19.

In line with CDC guidelines, we recommend that you wear a mask (especially in-doors) if you are not fully vaccinated. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been recently exposed to Covid-19, please do not attend the event. Each guest understands that they will be required to comply with COVID-19 guidelines, rules, regulations, and health and safety protocols.

4x Restaurants:
You will earn one point for each dollar charged for an eligible purchase in each billing period on The American Express Gold Card. You will earn: 3 additional points (for a total of 4 points) for each dollar charged at restaurants worldwide; 3 additional points (for a total of 4 points) on the first $25,000 of eligible purchases per calendar year at supermarkets located in the U.S. (superstores and warehouse clubs are not considered supermarkets); and 2 additional points (for a total of 3 points) for airfare on a scheduled flight charged directly with passenger airlines (charter flights and private jet flights are excluded) and airfare charged directly with amextravel.com. You may not earn additional points for purchases at a restaurant located within another establishment (e.g. a restaurant inside a hotel, casino, or event venue). For example, purchases made at a restaurant located within a hotel may be recognized as a purchase at a hotel, not a restaurant. You also will NOT earn additional points for purchases at bars, nightclubs, cafeterias, and convenience stores. Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, person to person payments, purchases of gift cards, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Additional terms and restrictions apply. Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell.
