Second Night Added!

Jimmy Lau and Nick Kim, the sushi chef-empresario frontmen at East Village omakase destination Shuko, will be appearing in the Hamptons at Highway Restaurant for a second night on August 13. Just as they did in mid-July, they’ll serve a multi-course Kaiseki feast, featuring some surprises and lots of Shuko’s most loved dishes, like West Coast Dungeness crab salad and housemade Japanese milk toast with toro tartare and caviar. Plus, spicy lobster, sushi, sashimi and tons more. The meal is $200/pp with an optional $125/pp beverage pairing. Reservations are available by clicking the Reservations button above.

Sushi worshippers in the crowd may recall that Nick and Jimmy first debuted Shuko in the Hamptons two years ago as a summertime preview. They then moved the restaurant to its permanent Union Square digs and earned 3-stars from the New York Times. In that review, Pete Wells said, “Mr. Lau and Mr. Kim, both young and fluent in several cultures at once, have taken all the preciousness out of omakase and kaiseki dining and replaced it with a relaxed, sophisticated cool…they’ve arrived.”
