Spring has Sprung. Watching chefs work their magic with the Bay Area’s bounty is a wonderful way to ring in a new season, but so are farmers markets, the source of so much of that pristine produce. We’re particularly fond of the legendary Saturday market at the Ferry Building — who isn’t? — but here’s a pro tip: the Mission Community Market on Thursdays is a lesser-known gem. Ch-ch-chaaaanges … have come at Azalina’s, the Malaysian restaurant in the Tenderloin. In addition to the four-course prix fixe, now priced at $89, there’s also now an option for a two course $46. Beer, wine, or creative mocktails are available to pair with the James Beard Award nominated chef’s fare.
