Resy Partners with Delta to Bring Restaurant Guides and In-Flight Restaurant Booking to SkyMiles Members
Resy launches on Delta Sync Exclusives, Delta’s new in-flight digital platform, helping passengers kick off their trip by reserving a table at a restaurant before they land.
Monday, May 22, 2023 – Resy knows dining at great restaurants is an essential part of travel, but booking reservations can be left for the last leg of the trip. To be travelers’ essential restaurant resource, Resy partnered with Delta Air Lines to provide the Resy experience in-flight.
The partnership is part of the launch of Delta Sync Exclusives, Delta’s first-of-its-kind digital platform for mobile devices that combines exclusive content, access and offers.
“Customers deserve a journey that feels seamlessly fit for them, and that means delivering meaningful, personalized and relevant touch points in compelling new ways,” Ranjan Goswami, Delta’s SVP of Customer Experience Design, said.
Once logged in, passengers have access to Resy’s dining expertise, deep network of standout restaurants, and seamless booking platform. Travelers can navigate to Delta Sync’s “My Trip” tab to find a custom Resy homepage with editorial guides, restaurant recommendations and booking functionality.
Passengers traveling to 10 of Delta’s top destinations [1] are served destination-specific content like Resy’s Hit List, and real-time table availability in the city where they’ll soon be touching down. For other destinations, passengers can explore Resy’s editorial content and curated collections like Climbing (powered by Resy booking data), Top Rated (powered by guest reviews) and New On Resy (restaurants new on Resy).
“Resy is an essential resource for anyone who wants to dine well while traveling,” said Hannah Kelly, Resy Chief Marketing Officer. “Delta is the perfect partner to make Resy’s expert-curated restaurant guides – and the ability to book – available to travelers while they’re en route.”
For the start of summer travel, Resy has also debuted a new edition of its Resy Travel Hub (Resy.com/Travel). The Resy Travel Hub features new Hit Lists for Paris, London, Athens and more, and reservation availability in 30+ international cities, from Madrid to Barcelona, Toronto to Tokyo.
