Resy Unveils ‘Dream Team Dinners,’ A Star-Studded Culinary Collaboration

Today, Resy announces a new dinner series pairing rising star chefs with notable chefs and celebrities that most inspire them. “The Resy Dream Team Dinners,” brings together visionary chefs like Yara Herrera, Tam Pham and Sam Yoo with their dream collaborators such as Martha Stewart, Questlove, and James Beard Award® winners Kwame Onwuachi, Sean Brock, and Jacques Pépin for a series of one-night-only dinners starting May 1 in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta, and Chicago.

“The new Resy Dream Team Dinners and content series provides a firsthand look into the creativity and key influences that inspire some of our favorite chefs and how that translates onto a plate,” said Hannah Kelly, chief marketing officer of Resy. “We’re grateful to our chef partners and their guests of honor for sharing their process with Resy diners.”

Each Dream Team Dinner has a corresponding personal chef essay featured on the Resy blog sharing the significance behind their selected dream collaborators and how they’ve inspired their unique journeys in the culinary world.

“Working alongside Martha, whose passion for culinary excellence has long been a source of inspiration for me, has been truly fulfilling,” said Hellbender’s Chef Yara Herrera. “Martha’s attention to detail imprinted on me from a young age and it shows up in both the décor and menu at Hellbender.”

“A decade ago, I saw Questlove play a DJ set on a random weeknight. I left feeling inspired to be a master in my own lane, no matter who or how many people are watching. Not long after, I started writing the business plan for my first restaurant, Golden Diner,” said Chef Sam Yoo of NY Kimchi and Golden HOF.

“I have always been interested in the creative process of chefs and their commitment to craft and collaboration,” said Questlove. “Working with Chef Sam to bring together what will be a delicious mashup has been a privilege, and I look forward to seeing everyone’s reactions to what we’ve been cooking up.”

THE LINE UP

Each ‘Dream Team Dinner’ features a multi-course tasting menu, a warm welcome from the featured chef and their special guest, and a custom memento to take home in celebration of the evening. American Express® Card Members will also receive an exclusive welcome refreshment.

• New York City (May 7): NY Kimchi and Golden Hof chef Sam Yoo is joined by talented multi-hyphenate Questlove.
• Chicago (May 13): Maxwells Trading chefs Chris Jung and Erling Wu-Bower are joined by chef and restaurateur Sean Brock.
• Miami (May 15): Tâm Tâm chef Tam Pham is joined by James Beard Award® winner chef Kwame Onwuachi.
• Los Angeles (May 28): Quarter Sheets‘ Hannah Ziskin and Aaron Lindell are joined by legendary French chef Jacques Pépin.
• Washington D.C. (May 29): Perry’s chef Masako Morishita is joined by her mother, Ryoko Morishita.

Starting April 22 at 10:00 a.m. local time across all U.S. markets, eligible American Express® Card Members who have linked their American Express® Card to their Resy profile will receive exclusive early access to tickets.
