Now on Resy: Oddball, Mrs. Georgia, Panda Harlem, and More Local Favorites
Updated:
From an omakase restaurant hidden in Grand Central to a homey spot for Georgian staples, these are just a few of the beloved New York spots that are now bookable on Resy. Right this way.
Note: This list will be updated regularly with new additions each month, so be sure to check back often. For New York’s newest restaurant openings, head here.
Coral Omakase Midtown
Newly added!
17 courses of premium omakase in the heart of Grand Central? Coral is an escape within the chaos, and comes from a chef who trained at BondST, Sumile, and Koi. We can imagine few better things.
The Cellar at Armada Lower East Side
Newly added!
As you descend into the glowing den that is The Cellar at Armada, you might get the sense that you’re entering another dimension. Order a cosmopolitan and a french dip with gruyere and enjoy the ride.
Fortuna NYC East Village
Newly added!
The menu at Fortuna is long, varied, delicious, and entirely kosher. Do know that the schnitzel, fattoush, and bourekas are required eating.
Panda Harlem West Harlem
Newly added!
Dress to impress here — every night feels like a soirée, thanks to a hip hop playlist and food that’s always on point. Signature dishes include glazed Shanghai ribs and braised oxtail dumplings, but you also shouldn’t overlook the cocktails, either.
Mrs. Georgia Long Island City
Newly added!
The khinkali, housemade pickles, and honey cake at Mrs. Georgia are all well worth the trip to Long Island City. The warm service and long list of wines? Icing on the cake. Or, egg yolk on the khachupuri.
Giardino D'oro Financial District
Newly added!
Italian for Golden Garden, Giardino d’Oro is a cozy oasis with wine-lined walls and sweet murals of the countryside. Order the eggplant rollatini, linguini alla vongole, and a veal chop for good measure.
Pappardella Upper West Side
Newly added!
When in need of a comfort meal near Central Park, Pappardella will never steer you wrong. Their Italian menu is filled with classics like black truffle agnolotti, caprese, and brick-fired pizzas. Buon appetito, indeed.
Enso Omakase Williamsburg
It’s an intimate, ten-seat omakase counter serving Edomae cuisine in a classic and serene Wabi Sabi-style setting. Go for the full 16 courses of nigiri, plus soup and dessert (all for under $200), or enjoy 12 courses in the lounge or garden.
Ottava Park Slope
When in search of pizza in Park Slope, Ottava is a great choice for Neopolitan-style pies. We’re partial to the carbonara, with housemade duck prosciutto, pecorino, and scallions, but it’s hard to go wrong.
A10 Kitchen East Village
Head here for a low-lit meal of Italian fare, with familiar favorites from cacio e pepe to panna cotta. Pro tip: If you happen to be in the neighborhood after 10 p.m. — their late-night menu, with burgers and fries, is on until midnight.
Olivier Bistro Park Slope
The côte de boeuf, long list of French cheeses, and escargots with garlic butter are all reasons enough to make your way to Olivier. The warm service and cozy atmosphere are just the cherry on top.
Sahara's Turkish Cuisine Kips Bay
Dining here feels like dining at your parents’ house, with photographs and trinkets lining the walls. Depending on your family’s level of culinary excellence, this may be even better, with kofta, gyros, falafel, and a not-to-be-missed cup of coffee.
Private Room NYC Astoria
Caribbean food, cocktails, hookah, and DJ sets that go late into the night (or, early into the morning) — that’s Private Room. As the name suggests, the spot feels like a private club without all the membership fees.
Jiang Nan – Manhattan Chinatown
Jiang Nan is a mini-empire serving up Asian classics, including some of the city’s favorite duck, mapo tofu, and soup dumplings that helped land them a spot on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list.
Book Jiang Nan in Flushing and Long Island City, too.
Black Iron Theatre District Midtown
You know why you’re here — a juicy, cheesy, towering burger. Make good on your mission with the signature Black Iron that comes with horseradish, cheddar, and caramelized onions. They have salads, too, we think. Maybe.
Ledo Pizza & Bar Midtown
This one justifies a break from New York-style slices: It’s a Maryland-inspired pizza chain with square pies and a full bar. We recommend their signature pizza with smoked provolone, sweet tomato sauce, and a super-thin crust.
Point Seven Midtown East
Named for the 70% of the world that is covered in water, Point Seven is a seafood-focused spot with serious chops. Go for the garlic oil shrimp, Baltimore-style crab cakes, or celeriac vichyssoise and you’re sure to be satisfied.
Wraptor Restaurant Bar Red Hook
It’s a breezy all-day spot that serves up simple, comforting dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s lots of options, including (you guessed it) wraps, plus elote, burgers, and fried calamari.
Addictive Wine and Tapas Jackson Heights
You’ll want to stay a while — this spot has more than 100 wines on their list, plus a menu of tapas like tortilla Española, patatas bravas, and pan con tomate that pair perfectly.
No Work Allowed Midtown East
You heard ‘em — leave your job at the door when you’re here. It won’t be hard once you have a drink in hand, you’re listening to one of their many jazz acts, and your order of chile garlic spaghetti is on the way.
