Alisha Miranda
Philadelphia Contributor
Alisha is a multimedia journalist, digital producer, and cultural connector. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Hudson Valley, Alisha lived and worked in New York City before making Philadelphia her home in 2015 (Go Birds!). Her parents raised her to revere restaurants (and to never order off the kids’ menu), value home cooking, and always put respect on hospitality workers’ names. She’s obsessed with telling meaningful stories and believes the best reporting is rooted in community, visibility, and a never-ending curiosity for “how things really work” behind the scenes. Food and hospitality are the lens through which she talks about people, legacy, and holding space for underrepresented perspectives.
