Resy At Home – Resy’s Booking + Pickup Functionality – Launches, Allowing Restaurants To Send Their Hospitality Home

NEW YORK CITY (Monday, June 29, 2020) — Resy At Home – Resy’s new functionality for reserving and purchasing restaurant experiences to take home – is now available to all US Resy restaurants, enabling them to add another revenue stream to their business without adding another technology platform. No commission is taken from restaurants, and no fees are charged to the diner.

Dining In Feels Like Dining Out. Restaurants can create curated takeout offerings – multi-course meals, family-style dinners, grocery boxes, wine selections, and more – for pickup, as a way of feeding their guests’ love of restaurants beyond their four walls.


Resy’s new Resy At Home functionality is another tool (joining Mobile Waitlist, Capacity Monitor, and Restaurant Bulletin) that supports restaurants as they navigate this turbulent time, and equips them with technology that reflects the new future of dining. These tools are just one example of Resy and American Express’s commitment to connecting some of the most avid and loyal diners with the world’s best restaurants, through a combination of innovative technology and global scale.


Restaurants simply turn on the functionality in their ResyOS dashboard to customize offerings and pickup slots. Resy At Home is fully integrated with restaurants’ reservation pages, so diners see RESERVATIONS on one tab and DINE AT HOME on another. Later this summer, Resy will announce a full slate of programming – created in collaboration with some of the best chefs around the country – featuring restaurant experiences meant to be enjoyed beyond the dining room, as a way to have unique culinary experiences even in a time where standard events are canceled.


To start, Resy has debuted
At Home Specials in NYC, a month-long takeout program featuring weekly, inspired specials from 16 restaurants: Adda, Anton’s, Don Angie, Chez Nick, Fausto, Gertie, LaLou, North Miznon, Nami Nori, Oxalis, Pasquale Jones, PDT, Rahi, Red Hook Tavern, Ras Plant Based, Wayla. Each week, for four weeks, the restaurants create takeout package inspired by a collective theme (i.e. Fourth Of July, a never-before-seen twist on a signature) and sell the packages exclusively via Resy. Highlights include Nami Nori’s Seven Layer Salmon Dip with salmon sashimi, ikura, red onion, crème fraîche, egg white, egg yolk & chives, house-made nori chips; Pasquale Jones’ Tuscan Summer Picnic including Tuscan pork ribs with fennel & hot pepper, butterball potato salad, insalata di Campo and blueberry crostata; and more at Resy.com/AtHomeSpecials.
