The list honors relevant and compelling companies making a cultural and business impact.
Fast Company included Resy on its annual Brands That Matter list. The list, released today, honors companies that communicate and demonstrate purpose.
“During Resy’s nine years in business – and particularly since American Express acquired it in 2019 – the reservation tool for restaurants and diners has become a critical part of the restaurant ecosystem,” Fast Company Associate Editor Yasmin Gagne wrote. “Resy played a crucial role in helping customers and owners revive restaurants post-pandemic. Then it turned its attention to creating one-of-a-kind dining experiences and building an editorial content platform to help diners discover new restaurants and make users feel like insiders,” she added.
“Our mission is to connect restaurant-lovers to their next favorite restaurant, especially up-and-coming and diverse-owned restaurants,” said Hannah Kelly, Resy Chief Marketing Officer. “I’m incredibly proud of our team who discovers, curates, profiles and champions amazing restaurants around the world – and crucially, serves these recommendations to our audience in a meaningful way,” Kelly added.
Fast Company noted that Resy has worked to highlight restaurants representing diverse backgrounds and cultures through its monthly Hit Lists and editorial campaigns on such topics as the evolution of U.S. Chinatowns.

When it came to compiling the list, Fast Company editors judged each brand within the context of relevancy, cultural impact, ingenuity and business impact. “The scale and scope of honorees this year is incredible,” said Brendan Vaughan, Fast Company’s editor-in-chief.
