‘Love On The Line by Resy’ brings diners face-to-face with all-star restaurant talent at ultimate chef’s counter pop-up experience and marketing campaign

Resy is partnering with sister brand Tock on a winter pop-up experience called “Love On The Line by Resy” to spotlight the people, the passion and the details that define great hospitality.  

The two weekend-long pop-ups in New York (February 28-March 1) and Chicago (March 6-7) will bring diners up close – literally – to notable chefs like Nok Suntaranon, Nick Tamburo, Brandon Jew and more, at a custom-built 25-seat counter space that blurs the line between front and back of house.  

Resy users can choose from four seating options – lunch, aperitivo, dinner or nightcap – featuring one-of-a-kind dishes, cocktails and wines from some of the best restaurants, bars and wineries from across the country. Ticket packages range from $50-120 in New York and $40 to $100 in Chicago, depending on service experience.  

“Danny’s is new on the block and being able to talk openly about the work we put in every day – and have people engage with it – means a lot to us,” said Danny’s Executive Chef Ed Tinoco. “More than anything, we hope diners get a sense of the care, intention, and thought that goes into what we do every day, and feel like they were part of something genuine, not just a meal.” 

The pop-up series builds on Resy’s 2025 Right This Way campaign which also mobilized diners to show up for restaurants during the winter months. For 2026, “Love On The Line by Resy” marries experiential with content series like love letters to the industry and a new “Confessions” social video series featuring the staff of Rolo’s and All Together Now sharing anecdotes, hot takes and a behind-the-scenes look into the industry.  

“Restaurants create and reflect communities, and as such, they have immense influence on the greater culture. With every Resy feature, article, or video, we try to showcase the stories behind diners’ favorite restaurants and the people that drive them,” said Resy Editor-in-Chief Paolo Lucchesi.   

“I feel lucky that I get to do something that I love and be creative in storytelling with this medium, especially exploring the relationship with my identity as Chinese-American through amazing products from the Bay Area with Chinese techniques,” said Brandon Jew, chef and owner of Mister Jiu’s in San Francisco’s historic Chinatown. “As hard as the job sometimes is (physically, emotionally, mentally), it still feels like something I want to do every day and share through Mister Jiu’s.”
