Because the first solo venture from Cedric Vongerichten of fine dining beacon Perry Street has arrived—and it’s far from boring. The chef (and son of Jean Georges) has partnered with his wife, Ochi, to deliver a French-Indonesian restaurant inspired by her birthplace of Jakarta. Wayan translates to “first born,” and you ought to be the first to try it.

Because you’ve got until February 19th to celebrate (or keep celebrating) the Chinese New Year, and Little Alley is the perfect destination for doing so. Spring for an order of spicy pig ears, marinated pig trotters, or both. It’s the Year of the Pig, after all.
