Over the course of the past decade or two, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has begun to feel like an extension of Manhattan. Once-quiet Bedford Avenue is now swarming with tourists brave enough to venture outside of the confines of Midtown in search of an “authentic” Brooklyn experience, complete with visions of affordable vintage shopping and wider sidewalks.
