Now on Resy: Raf’s, Oti, Pizzette, and More Local Favorites
From a much-loved homage to Little Italy from The Musket Room team to a charming Lower East Side spot devoted to Romanian cuisine, these are just a few of the beloved New York spots that are now bookable on Resy. Right this way.
Note: This list will be updated regularly with new additions each month, so be sure to check back often. For New York’s newest restaurant openings, head here.
Early Terrible New York City Lower East Side
The only thing terrible about this spot is the name (get it?). The menu, with classic cocktails, foie gras-stuffed chicken wings, squid ink risotto, and fries with parsley mayo, is anything but.
Oti Lower East Side
Oti serves up superb “Romanian(ish)” food in a spot that’s both whimsical and fun — look no further than their logo painted onto the front window. Think pickled mushroom toast, flaky telemea cheese pastry, and housemade polenta with bone broth and miso. And do know the hospitality is as warm and welcoming as the food.
Raf’s NoHo
This homage to Little Italy, from the same team behind Michelin-starred The Musket Room, has everything you could want, from outstanding pastries courtesy of Camari Mick and incredible entrees from Mary Attea. Don’t sleep on the sfincione (Sicilian-style pizzas), or a chance to try one of the canelés.
Le Tout va Bien Hell's Kitchen
Brie en croûte, rack of lamb, coq au vin … Le Tout Va Bien has all of the trappings of a classic French bistro right in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. Pro tip: Head here before catching a show for their incredible $38 three course pre-theater menu.
Sip and Co East Village East Village
It’s a cozy, homey spot in the East Village that has you covered no matter what time you’re nearby. Sip and Co serves coffee, wine, cocktails, and small bites in their all-day space, and it’s perfect for catching up with a friend or when you’re on your latest read.
Zia Maria Chelsea Chelsea
Zia Maria in Chelsea maintains all the neighborhood charms of Little Italy, albeit a bit more uptown. There’s wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, pastas, and plenty of affordable wine options best enjoyed in one of their yellow booths.
Ladurée Soho Lower Manhattan
Everyone’s favorite macaron shop happens to have an exceptionally lovely café in Soho, complete with a backyard filled with cherry blossoms that coat the space in pink petals when the season is right. We’re partial to the tea service, for maximum aesthetic.
La Palapa East Village
If we ever say no to bottomless margaritas and chilaquiles, notify the authorities. At La Palapa, the seasoned stalwart of Saint Mark’s, you can enjoy all of the above, plus Mexico City-style tacos, chile relleno, and chips and guacamole in their brightly colored, flag-adorned space.
Jupiter Disco Bushwick
Whether you want to dance, drink (N/A shots, anyone?), or listen to some extremely cool music, Jupiter Disco is the place to be. Their events run the gamut from chess club to hypnotic techno DJs, which makes this a spot that truly has something for everyone.
Della Valle Brooklyn
We’d come to Della Valle just to eat under that gorgeous curved ceiling alone, but luckily for us (and you) there’s plenty about the internationally influenced menu that’ll make it worth your while. Do try the Scotch egg, slow-cooked short rib, and khachapuri, for starters.
Opera Cafe Lounge – Brooklyn Brooklyn
Head here for an opulent Turkish meal on Emmons Avenue, complete with gozleme (traditional Turkish flatbread), kibbe, and kebab. The space feels festive enough to make a night of it by ordering one of their house cocktails, if the mood strikes.
Agora Taverna Forest Hills
We’re here for the thick marinated feta and olives, hand-rolled stuffed grape leaves, and moussaka with lemon potatoes, but you should know all of the Greek standbys are on the menu at Agora. Don’t skip any of the Greek wines on offer, either.
Ammos Estiatorio Midtown
Ammos is a bright, two-story spot with a focus on Greek seafood. Think grilled octopus, a large list of priced-by-the-pound whole fish flown in daily from the Mediterranean, and a fresh, lemony shrimp pasta.
Dar 525 Malcolm X Blvd Bedford-Stuyvesant
It’s an outpost of the Greenpoint Mediterranean standby, serving up all of the same beloved dips, kebab, and flatbreads you love at the original. Try to score a seat by the floor-to-ceiling windows on Malcolm X Boulevard, if you can.
Dar525 Greenpoint Greenpoint
Newly added!
Dar 525 is a beloved neighborhood standby for all things Mediterranean, especially their labne, falafel, and shawarma. The best part? It’s open all day, so head here for lunch or dinner.
Cibo e Vino Upper West Side
Newly added!
Literally “food and wine,” Cibo e Vino is more than aptly named. Order the crispy artichokes, lamb gnocchi, and chicken Milanese, plus a glass of whatever the server suggests. Do sit outside, if the weather is nice enough.
Velvet Room BROOKLYN
Newly added!
Drinks served in faux Chanel bags, burgers stamped with the restaurant’s logo, gold-flecked chicken wings, and mac and cheese with lamb chops? Pull out your cameras, because the feed has to see this. It’s pretty much always a party at Velvet Room, so check their Instagram for the night’s offerings.
Casa Brazilian Restaurant Tribeca
Newly added!
Casa is a deep dive into Brazil’s diverse regional cuisines, serving up the homey stews of the north and the pit masters’ churrasco culture from the south, alongside a basket of pão de queijo (a non-negotiable that should begin every meal) that’ll make more than one homesick expat happily sigh.
Hutong New York Midtown East
While this elegant, opulent restaurant is best known for its highly prized Peking duck, you definitely don’t want to overlook their exquisitely crafted dim sum. Think pan-seared lobster bao, ibérico pork dumplings, and whole wheat konbo bonito xiao long bao. Is that your stomach growling, or ours?
London Lennie’s Rego Park
If you can’t make it across the pond for a good old-fashioned chippy, London Lennie’s is the next best thing. Here, the fish is crispy and golden and the chips are thick and hand-cut. If you prefer your seafood slightly more alive than fried, their raw bar is worth a trip all on its own.
Bomba Lounge Meatpacking District
It’s an after-work spot in Meatpacking that has the tendency to magically turn one drink into three, and before you know it you’re on the dance floor. Make your drink(s) a martini, and grab some fries for the table — it’s only polite.
390 Social Park Slope
We’re at 390 Social for the Sunday to Friday happy hour menu (think $10 wine pours, $1.50 oysters, and $8 pão de queijo) but the regular dinner experience is just as fun, with a mignonette martini that is awe-inspiring.
Kisa Lower East Side
Once you’ve made it to Kisa, the C as in Charlie team’s faithful ode to Korean kisa sikdangs (or beloved taxi-driver haunts), you only have one — admittedly, tough — decision ahead of you: to choose among four entrées like stir-fried squid and bulgogi, all of which come with a bountiful assortment of expertly crafted banchan, rice, and soup, all for $32. Hard part’s over — now, enjoy your bounty. It’s one of the best, and tastiest, deals in town.
