The September Hit List: Issima, Antico Nuovo, Wise Sons, and More

By

It might be September, but it only feels like autumn because kids are back in school. The air is still hot and hazy, which is a boondoggle for all those bustling patios that we’ll be using long into winter. You can still find indoor dining, too, but either way: bring that mask and your proof of vaccine card (both are required at most places).

There are a lot of newcomers to enjoy around town, including Issima in West Hollywood, and returning favorites, like Antico Nuovo near Koreatown — dinner at either one is like the Italian getaway you had to cancel this year. Plus Sichuan noodles at Mian in West Adams, and lox and more at the Culver City outpost of San Francisco’s Wise Sons deli. It’s all waiting for you in this month’s Hit List.
