Prubechu, one of the few Guamanian restaurants you’ll find in America, is celebrating Fiesta Fridays in its expansive parking lot. There are meaty boxes featuring both barbecued chicken and pork that come with red rice, kimchi pickles, and more, as well as a vegetarian version that includes grilled vegetables and golai hagon suni (coconut-turmeric spinach “curry”).  Pre-order and select pickup time here.

Old Oakland’s Oeste has opened up its roof deck, and is also offering deliciousness for takeout and delivery. That means you’ve got several ways to find creative sandwiches, cheesey shrimp and grits, pecan bread pudding for dessert, and much more. There’s also an Impossible Burger for the vegans, and Caesar salad for your health. Weekends feature brunch items, plus $6 cocktails and $3 glasses of wine (!). More info on the website.

The Polk Street Korean restaurant has pivoted to a delivery model offering up its versions of Korean fried chicken. Options include a soy-garlic galbi version, a sweet and spicy gochujang, and a sauceless one. Also on the menu are kimbap and ttoekbokki (Korean rice cakes) topped with mozzarella. Order here.

Order meal kits Sorrel-style, which include focaccia, butter, salad, soup, your choice of freshly made pastas (lumache with spicy pork sugo; spaghettoni with wild mushrooms; lasagna). Ravi Kapur’s wonderful, heritage-driven Liholiho Yacht Club is back in business offering all kinds of enticing items for pick-up. From “spamburgeusa” meal kits to crispy fish sandwiches with furikake fries to mom’s coconut mochi baked right into a convenient personal pan, you’re destined for deliciousness. Order here.

Gerald and Cameron Hirigoyen’s 18-year-old Basque restaurant is back open for outdoor dining, as well as takeout. Lunch and dinner are available on weekdays — and bring a jacket for those San Francisco summer nights.

Get your fried chicken fix from chef Tanya Holland’s Brown Sugar Kitchen. It’s also available in sandwich and salad forms as well. Buttermilk biscuits are a good side option — but bacon, cheddar, and scallion biscuits are a great option. Collard greens help balance it all out; cocktails and wines are also available.

Flour + Water Pizzeria is back in business, offering its excellent pizza pies and vegetable dishes. Can’t go wrong with pepperoni and pickled peppers, but we’re also partial to the all-cheese pie, which comes with four types of cheeses, garlic, and black pepper. Sho Kamio’s Berkeley standout is open for takeout — and opening soon for patio service on July 1. That means a host of ramen, donburi, and tempura is available — with many options for cocktails, great Japanese beers, and sakes.
