Miami’s Design District is known first and foremost for luxury retail, where upscale storefronts and designer brands take center stage. But the neighborhood has also become one of the city’s go-to dining destinations, home to chefs of the highest acclaim and those with cult followings. Here, a break from browsing designer windows can easily turn into a memorable meal, and vice versa.

The area’s restaurants reflect its eclectic energy. You can find New American cuisine rooted in seasonality; Korean barbecue staged like theater; French technique refined to its purest form, and Italian cooking that reflects that nation’s regionality.
