The Royal Palm knows how to do luxury, and their restaurant Paloma is the proof in the pudding. Enjoy your meal by the glittering pool, or perhaps at one of the airy patio tables. Either way, it’ll come with a healthy dose of scene.

It’s one of the many locations worldwide of chef and restaurateur Costa Spiliadis’ temple to Greek dining. Salt-baked fish, charred octopus, and an astounding number of wines by the glass never hurt anyone.

This Brickell haunt always brings the party, what with the occasional bottle service, live DJs, and a menu of shareable pan-Asian bites. Dress to impress — everybody else does.

Lafayette is an opulent, classic steakhouse with Euro-flair … need we say more? The Butcher Special with an American tomahawk, bread, sauce, and sides is our preferred order, but you can’t really go wrong.

The housemade charred pizza pies at Giotto Maestro come out steaming and bubbly the way nonna intended. It’s casual enough to make a weeknight meal special with your crew or your date.

It’s on the fancier end of the Calle Ocho spots, making it a good one to take someone you’d like to particularly impress. They add some French and Italian flavor to the classic Cuban cuisine, which means you’ll end up with dishes like ropa vieja Wellington and malanga gnocchi cacio e pepe.

You’ll definitely want to put on the bibs that The Fatty Crab offers you before diving into your Cajun-style seafood boil — white shirts, beware. Keep an eye out for their specials, like unlimited weekend brunch and happy hour drink deals.

For more than three decades, Anacapri has served up Italian classics to the lucky denizens of Pinecrest. There’s a decidedly old-school feel to the space, and you should order as many of the pastas as you can manage.

This enormous Mexican restaurant feels like taking a trip to another world (or, at least, another country). Stick to the theme and order a few margaritas and a few things from the surprisingly delicious “insects” section of the menu. Grasshopper tostadas, anyone?

If you want something done right — in this case, caviar — go straight to the source. Nearly everything on the menu here can be enhanced with the ingredient, from lobster rolls to vanilla soft serve.

Peruvian cuisine gets special treatment at Pisco y Nazca, where ceviche, chaufas, and well, pisco drinks dot the robust menu. Saúde!

The word “ktchn” might be shortened, but everything that comes out of Reunion’s is full of flavor and skill. Come during happy hour for deals on both drinks and small bites.

Named for the iconic cooking competition show hosted by Gordon Ramsay, Hell’s Kitchen is meant to make you feel like you’re experiencing the drama and theatricality of the show. And yes, you should order the beef Wellington.

With Lido’s waterfront patio and views of the city, we’d have to love it no matter what. Luckily for us, the food does the location justice; do order plenty from the raw bar.

Chop takes everything you love about classic steakhouses and ups the ante with contemporary takes that’ll leave you feeling more than satisfied. The steaks are superb, but don’t overlook the extensive seafood selections, either.

So named for the Greek goddess of the earth, Gaia makes its way to Miami on the heels of locations across the globe from Dubai to London. Know that the spanakopita and moussaka are required ordering.

Eating tapas and sipping cocktails never hurt anyone, especially when the fare is as good as it is at Bulla. Oh, and if you’re going to become a regular, you should know it’s pronounced “boo-ya.”

Nikkei-style cuisine is out in full force here, with leche de tigre ceviche, yucca fries, and sushi rolls all on the menu.

This crowd pleaser doesn’t disappoint with its expansive menu of Spanish specialties. Think tortilla española, four types of paella, pitchers of sangria, and bottles of tempranillo. It’s the next best thing to being in Spain.

Head here for a casual, comfortable meal that should include rosemary focaccia and a marinara pie. Oh, and a Peroni.

They’ve been a local favorite for three decades, with all the trappings of a classic Italian American trattoria. Housemade pasta and Roman-style pizzas for the table, please.

It’s big enough to spread out at La Tremenda, a fact you’ll be grateful for once their signature paella makes its way to your table. Follow it with a Basque cheesecake, if you know what’s good for you.

Named for the year Maradona led Argentina to soccer glory, this Argentinian parrilla treats live-fire asado as a cultural ritual as much as a cooking method. Premium cuts from Argentina, the U.S., and Japan are grilled over fire with nothing but salt — the way it was always meant to be done. The best-in-class beef program alone earns the trip, but the cocktail list, developed by the team behind the best bar in South America, might also convince you.

It’s a see-and-be-seen hot spot scene right on the water, so you can work on your tan while you sip your tableside mojito. Their menu even has a section called Sea and Be Seen — it’s perfect. And so is their crispy whole snapper.

Try to snag a seat in the garden here at EOS (as the name implies). The breeze only improves on the watermelon salad and moussaka, which is already top-notch.
