The signature restaurant at Coconut Grove’s iconic Mayfair Hotel is cool again — and great for daytime leisure. Flavors of the Sonoran desert and American Southwest have been transplanted here, translating to brunch dishes like eggs divorciados (sunny side up egg, blue corn tortilla, ranchera sauce, salsa verde) and avocado toast with cotija and roasted corn. Pro tip: Do not miss the mezcal and Tequila cocktails, which should be sipped in the very lush courtyard bar.

Perfectly designed for the ‘gram, this delightful English-inspired café’s contemporary floral aesthetic is completed with plush velvet banquettes and a blooming outdoor patio. The daily brunch menu doesn’t just offer one option for an omelet, pancakes, eggs Benedict, or French toast. Instead, each category has a slew of delectable takes that will make it hard to decide what to order. Our favorites, however, include dishes like the caviar omelet, crab cake egg benedict, rose petal pancakes, and Nutella French toast. An immensely popular pop-up turned brick-and-mortar, Rosie’s excels in the brunch department. And it’s thankfully brunch all day at chef-owners Akino and Jamila West’s all-outdoor space, a “backyard” in Little River, where you’ll be able to tear into Rosie’s excellent chocolate croissant in in the shade of an old banyan tree. Don’t miss it.

As another Michelin-starred pick on this list, this Mexican restaurant embraces time-honored traditions and showcases them with unique spins. If you want to keep brunch casual, this iconic Cuban restaurant is where you can get your egg fix without having to break out your Sunday best. While the typical eggs and pancakes options are available, you should try its famous Cuban or medianoche sandwiches. Both are pork and ham sandwiches that are topped with crunchy pickles, Swiss cheese, and mustard, but the different comes in the bread. A Cuban is made with crispy baguette-like Cuban bread and the medianoche (or midnight) sandwich is made with a sweet bread like brioche. And of course, there are plenty of savory Cuban dishes to savor as well, like plantains, picadillo, and vaca frita. Just make sure to save room for one of its life-changing flans.
