The (literal) crowning glory of the well-loved Kissaki sushi mini-empire, Saishin is a softly lit indoor-outdoor rooftop omakase bar, where the only thing more dazzling than the finely crafted sushi omakase menu might be the glittering views of Manhattan.

This temple to all things pasta comes from none other than Pastificio Di Martino, the family-owned business that’s been making pasta in Gragnano, Italy, for more than a century. While you can enjoy pasta to go, or purchase dried pasta to cook at home, you’ll really want to splurge on the multi-course pasta tasting menu at The Oval directed by Michelin-starred Italian chef Peppe Guida.

Housemade pastas, antipasti, and hearty main dishes stand out at this urban trattoria — the flagship of the Morini mini-empire. Pro tip: Duck into the Morini bungalow any day between 4 and 6 p.m. for “sips and snacks,” Italian-style.

Thank “Shark Tank” for this convivial pasta-focused Italian restaurant. Proprietor Brandon Fay, known for his Pasta by Hudson takeout stand, scored investments from Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner to open his dream restaurant. Pro tip: Do not miss the Cheesy Meatballs — the creation that won Fay his backing.

The newspaper-inspired name of this comfortable all-purpose dining room at the Martinique Hotel is appropriate: It’s just off Herald Square, named for the long-vanished New York Herald. Come hungry for omelets or French toast, oysters or burgers.

This iconic NoHo cocktail haven, shuttered for four years, has come back swinging in more ways than one. Tables inset with leather, an Andy Warhol disco ball, and an enigmatic mural by artist Kiki Kogelnik (who created the bar’s ghostly chameleon logo) set the scene for a treasury of cocktails, new and traditional, and a short menu of cocktail-perfect food.

Here’s one you won’t want to miss: a stylishly casual spot from the owners of The Wayland and Goodnight Sonny, where the Mexican-inspired cuisine is finished with a French touch — and Mexico City cocktail maven Julio Xoxocotla has assembled a knockout list of Tequila and mezcal and a menu of irresistible agave-forward cocktails.

You might think you’ve wandered onto a set for “Masterpiece Theatre” when you step into this opulent establishment, with its velvet booths, ornate ceiling, and tasseled lamps — the latest from the group behind The Ragtrader and White Oak Tavern. The menu is deliciously international, and whiskey is the drink of choice.

L’Adresse is an address you’ll want to remember. Settle into a deep booth or a seat at the magnificent marble-topped bar at this sibling to the Bryant Park original and dig into chef Rafael De Garate’s internationally accented American menu. And go ahead and splurge: When truffles are in season, you can add them to almost anything.

This kosher French-style steakhouse has become a Theater District mainstay for its classic meat-focused fare and its clubby atmosphere. An added attraction: There’s an on-site butcher shop selling high-quality glatt kosher beef, veal, and lamb to take home.

You might feel like you’re clubbing in the Manhattan of an earlier time at this soigné jazz club and cocktail lounge downstairs from (and from the proprietors of) Niche Niche. The music is cool, the crowd even cooler, and the drinks and small plate offerings are just what the evening requires.

If you’re looking for big flavors and generous portions from a wide-ranging menu in the Cuban and Spanish fusion mode, you can’t go wrong at this Inwood hot spot. Don’t miss the authentic Cuban-style mojitos, both traditional or flavored with your choice of tropical fruits.

Here’s a secret you’ll be glad you’re in on: Up an almost-hidden flight of stairs at Koreatown’s joyously raucous Osamil, you’ll find a tranquil, stylish cocktail bar and lounge where Osamil beverage master Reyangelo Hondade serves up jazzy variations on tiki classics. The menu includes sashimi and charcuterie, too.

Chef Sungchul Shim, who won a Michelin star for his tasting menu of skewered meats and seafood at Kochi, has gone in a different direction at Mari, with a tasting menu featuring hand rolls made with everything from snow crab to pork belly. We see another star in Shim’s future.

Here’s a hideaway you’ll want to share: a “steakeasy” inside Mel’s Burger Bar on the Upper East Side, serving only fixed-price steak, chicken, or burger dinners, with a side of seductive cocktails plus wine, beer, and whiskey — simple and just right.

Slide onto a wood-slat banquette, order a Grasshopper, and then build your own tavern-cut pizza (or opt for spaghetti and meatballs or chicken Parm) at Emmett Burke’s luminous take on the classic Midwestern supper club.

Butcher-block tables, brick walls, crossbeam ceilings, and full-length windows opening onto Perry Street set the scene for the unpretentious Italian fare at this neighborhood gem.

Brooklyn-born chef Calvin Eng (late of Nom Wah Nolita and Win Son) named his modestly sized Williamsburg Cantonese American restaurant after his mom — who, he says, taught him everything he knows about classic Cantonese cooking, with a uniquely New York lens. Pro tip: Don’t overlook Bonnie’s twists on classic cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style café) dishes like macaroni soup, golden lava French toast, and cheung fun (rice rolls). The specialty at chef Jade Thipruetree’s cozy Bushwick Thai place is kub klaem, snacks to be enjoyed with drinks. Expect plenty of spice and plenty of dishes you probably won’t find anywhere else.

Black truffle tarama? Lobster roll gyros? Chocolate tahini mousse? That’s how Medusa does Greek fusion fare at this rustic-chic taverna from the owners of the almost-adjacent Miti Miti (modern Mexican) and Bogotá Latin Bistro. And don’t miss the ouzo mojito.

The beers brewed and served at this big, bustling East Williamsburg taproom have names like Where the Sunbeams End and Legendary Luchador, and the food is provided by a taco truck parked right outside, so you know this place is going to be fun. Pro tip: When bands are playing across the street at Brooklyn Steel, arrive early, because concert-goers jam the place after a show.
