From Daphne: “Must order: the perfect, simply grilled, and ultra-tender octopus and the manti — these tiny Turkish dumplings are stuffed with fragrant minced beef and smothered in a generous lacquer of chile butter and garlicky yogurt. You will never be the same. Honestly though, everything on this menu is perfection, the kind of elegant homemade food you wish you could eat every single day. If I lived in Miami, I just might.”

From Daphne: “We nestled into a table in the parking lot outside Boia De and devoured truffled pasta with king crab, the juiciest lamb ribs, and bone marrow roasted to perfection that melted like thick butter to slather over toast. We also had some vegetables that were very good, but you’ll discover those for yourself.”

From Daphne: “An image of their short rib yaki noodles stopped my Instagram scroll in its tracks and I’ve been obsessed ever since. Ultra-fresh, ultra-delicious Japanese food; call ahead to see if they have uni, because you want that.”

From Daphne: “Inventive Italian. I have a real issue with any roasted, smoked, or otherwise charred eggplant dish: I have to have it. I also have to have the spaghetti vongole and porcini, because what is better than perfectly cooked pasta slathered in garlicky wine butter and briny clams? Slathering that spaghetti in mushroomy garlicky wine butter and briny clams, of course. A pinch of chile flakes to make it spicy and you have yourself, well, heaven.”
