In this edition, we speak to Tomer Blechman, the chef and owner of vibrant, modern Mediterranean haven, Miss Ada, currently open for outdoor dining, pickup, and delivery. Below, he shares some of his favorite takeout tips, tricks, cocktails, and regular stops.

Resy: What’s your favorite dish from Miss Ada’s takeout menu?
Blechman: The fattoush salad — baby gem lettuce, Caesar dressing, pita chips, and tomato.

Where are you getting takeout from and what are you ordering?
— Oh Dumplings in Cobble Hill: Braised beef bing, pork dumplings.
— Oxomoco in Greenpoint: Lamb barbacoa, carnitas.

Best tip to amp up your takeout?
The sides can play a big role in flavor profiles. At Miss Ada, we have lots of condiments that can really lift the experience. Try and order things that are in season. And try to have a quick pick-up time!

What’s your favorite place for cocktails to go?
Walter’s, right next to us in Fort Greene.

What single restaurant dish would you walk miles for?
The angel hair francese, from Nick Anderer’s Anton’s in the West Village.

What restaurant do you wish was open?
Maialino, for the garganelli with braised rabbit and Castelvetrano olives.

What do you miss the most about restaurants?
Hearing the energy of people enjoying their meals, glasses clinking, people relaxing after a long day of work.
