Resy’s Guide to Restaurants Selling Groceries in Los Angeles

By

While many Los Angeles restaurants have shifted to doing takeout and delivery, others have become de facto marketplaces for their communities. When you can’t find flour or eggs at the grocery store, or that delivery won’t come for another two weeks, this is the way to buy pantry and household goods, fresh produce, seafood, DIY meal kits, cocktails, wine and more.

And above all, support the restaurants you love.

ALL TIME
Putting the essentials in quarantine kits, the Los Feliz spot has boxes full of eggs, dried pasta, hot sauces, avocados, wine, bread and at least one roll of toilet paper. Additionally, there are myriad items for a la carte ordering, including pre-cut steaks and sustainably farmed striped bass. Available for pickup and delivery.

BAR AVALON
The Echo Park wine bar sells everything from pantry staples to produce and prepared meals — and even wholesale meats from Peads & Barnetts and wild fresh seafood from Yokose Seafood. Pickup on site. You can also order select items, including wine, beer and beverages, for delivery. Get all the info here.

BAR RESTAURANT
One of Silver Lake’s newest hot spots has put together boxes based to fill the fridge and pantry, each coming with a choice of protein plus produce, pasta, rice and grains, all with or without wine. Thao Family Farm garden boxes are also available, and if you need a mask, they have them. Orders for pickup start here.
