The Miami Restaurants Where We Want to Be Regulars

By

People choose to become regulars at their favorite restaurants for various reasons — maybe they like chit-chatting with a particular server, or their dad used to eat there every week, or it’s next to their apartment, or they just really love the chicken parm — but it almost always boils down to hospitality. We keep going back to places that make us feel welcome and comfortable and taken care of.

Restaurants extend hospitality to regulars in different ways too. Could be a bartender starting your usual cocktail before you sit down, the host showing you to the window table they know you prefer, or a server sliding you a slice of Key lime pie on the house.

In Miami, where VIP culture looms large, it’s easy to think that restaurant perks are limited to celebs and the upper-upper echelon of spenders. But if you break free of the glitz and glam and start to regularly patronize some local restaurants that value quality over quantity — like the nine here — watch the velvet ropes begin to unfurl for you.

We’re not saying you’re guaranteed to get free pie or stronger negronis by going to these spots. But these are places that especially care about hospitality — care about you — and treat their regulars right. So start booking your recurring reservations now.
