The Resy Hit List: Where In San Francisco You’ll Want to Eat in March 2024

By

There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.

We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in San Francisco and around the Bay Area: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants in that you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.

Four Things In the Bay Area Not to Miss This Month

  • Noodle Soup Weather. Need to warm up with all this cold and torrential rain? Consider chasing away the atmospheric rivers with a comforting brothy bowl of ramen at Ramen Shop, filled with toothsome noodles made in-house, and topped with some of the Bay Area’s best produce. Got some friends? Consider booking their karaoke room in the back kitchen, which is one of the coolest private dining rooms around, or explore any number of Bay Area cozy locales.
  • Pizza.Tasting.Menu. You read that right. Grab five of your best buds and head to Tony’s Pizza Napoletana where the legendary Tony Gemignani is offering a tasting through 7 styles of pizza. From New Haven to Naples, Detroit and Rome, no carb will be left behind. If that doesn’t sound like heaven, we don’t know what does.
  • Get In On That New New: Crush some Cal-Ital fare at The Rustic, the restaurant from Chez Panisse front-of-house alum Zoti Ali Turap, which opened last fall. This new spot on Church Street is your new go to for housemade pastas like ricotta-filled ravioli,  beautiful leopard-spotted woodfired pizzas, large plates of lamb shank or crispy fried chicken, and so much more. And check New On Resy for more recent openings.
  • Take the Das Boot Challenge … at the St. Patrick’s Day Block Party, March 15 at Schroeder’s. This is where you and your buddies race to see who can finish a big 2-liter boot of beer the fastest. The loser picks up the tab, but let’s be real, everyone’s a winner in this game that we totally made up but maybe potentially played just a few times. If that’s not your thing, you can always check the Resy Events page for ways to keep busy.
