The Resy Hit List: Where In San Francisco You’ll Want to Eat Right Now

By

There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.

We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in San Francisco and around the Bay Area: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants in that you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.

Four Things In the Bay Area Not to Miss This Month

  • Support Black-Owned Businesses: While you should do this all year long, it’s especially key during Black History Month. Right now, we’re very excited about the Elade Test Kitchen pop-up at Café Colucci in Oakland from fine-dining chef Selasie Dotse. Here she bridges Ghanaian, Ethiopian, and Californian dishes, flavors, and ingredients in her own way. Keep an eye out on Instagram for the next date.
  • Chinese New Year: This is the year of the dragon, and why not celebrate it under the dragon at the original Mission Chinese Food, one of the S.F. restaurants that break the mold? Book here.
  • V-Day Feast: Nothing’s more romantic than sharing food with your beloved. Allow talented chef Francis Ang help with a special 11-course tasting menu at his contemporary Filipino Abaca. There are special supplements like a foie gras torchon and kaluga caviar. Book here, and check our Resy Events listings for more Valentine options.
  • Team Long Lunch 2024: Lingering during a weekday is one of life’s ultimate luxuries, and luckily Besharam has got your back, with chef Heena Patel’s heart-filled Gujarati fare. On Thursdays through Saturdays, feast on things like spicy Bombay sandwiches, freshly made uttapams, cute little baby samosas, and more. Book here.
