The Resy Hit List: Where In Chicago You’ll Want to Eat in March 2024

There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.

We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in Chicago: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants in that you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.

Four Things In Chicago Not to Miss This Month

  • Wine Magnet: Argot is a new French bistro in Lincoln Park from Verve Wine’s Dustin Wilson. With Wisconsin native Lucas DePerry in the kitchen, this charming spot—a new entry in the city’s ever-deepening nouveau French wave— offers up bistro classics along with nods to the Midwest. Expect a deep and varied wine list, along with plenty of spirit-free options. Find all the details here.
  • Feliz Cumpleaños! Diana Dávila’s Beard-nominated Logan Square gem Mi Tocaya is turning seven, and throwing a heck of a party. Their seven-course dinner March 16 features a slew of guest chefs, including Virtue’s Erick Williams, Alinea’s Grant Achatz, and Mindy Segal of Mindy’s Bakery; proceeds go to culinary nonprofit The Abundance Setting. While you’re at it, check out more Resy events here
  • Taco Time: We’re excited to be able to snag seats at the newly bookable Tacombi. The Fulton Market outpost of this beloved taqueria is just as lively as the NYC originals. Come for crispy baja fish tacos and quesadillas gringas in the Yucatan-chic space, washed down with icy margaritas and fruity aguas frescas. Pro tip: Join the Taco Taco Club for BOGO tacos every Tuesday—and find more recent openings in New on Resy.
  • On Ice: Make the most of winter’s final chill with an end-of-season skate at Cantigny Park. Even if skating isn’t your thing, park yourself in one of the cozy reservable cocoa cabanas for giant Bavarian pretzels, pizza, and full bar service. Oh, and there’s a roaring fire pit, too.
