Now on Resy: Bubby’s, Red Onion, Sendo, and More Local Favorites
Updated:
From a dinner-and-drinks duo in The Evelyn Hotel to a Tribeca brunch institution, these are just a few of the beloved New York spots that are now bookable on Resy. Right this way.
Note: This list will be updated regularly with new additions each month, so be sure to check back often. For New York’s newest restaurant openings, head here.
Antica Financial District
Newly added!
Because it’s an ideal spot to unwind with your coworkers after a long day, over plates of steaming Bolognese and creamy alfredo. We also wouldn’t say no to sharing an order of veal meatballs, if you’re down …
The Tusk Bar NoMad
Newly added!
It’s a raw bar (heavy on the oysters) with expertly crafted cocktails and service until midnight. Stop by for a pre- or post-dinner drink before heading deeper into The Evelyn Hotel to their sister restaurant, Brass.
Gardenia Terrace Hookah Lounge Columbus Circle
Newly added!
It’s pretty much always a party at Gardenia, but that becomes especially true when the DJ starts spinning at 10 p.m. and the hookah smoke starts to pleasantly waft through the air. The feta tasting and hummus should both be on your table, if the pipe allows for the room.
Red Onion East Village
Head here to feast on a menu of Indian curries, biryani, and samosas underneath the (projected) moon and stars. Don’t forget side orders of mango chutney and caramelized onion relish to go with your bounty.
The Loft Steakhouse – Brooklyn Borough Park
Newly added!
No matter what you order at here (although, we’d say the pepper-crusted steak and garlic mashed potatoes), make sure to ask nicely for a peek inside their supremely beautiful wine cellar. They call it The Library, and for good reason.
Utsav Indian Restaurant Midtown
Newly added!
Because Utsav does Indo-Chinese cuisine brilliantly, and it’s also a sprawling, bi-level spot that just happens to be located on a skywalk right near Times Square. People-watch to your heart’s content as you enjoy paneer tikka and Manchurian-style cauliflower.
Armada Lower East Side
When in need of an intimate spot with cold drinks and moody lighting, Armada never fails. Crispy enoki mushrooms, bacon, egg, and cheese deviled eggs, and crisp gem lettuce with miso Caesar dressing may not be your typical bar fare, but here they fit right in.
L’Adresse NoMad NoMad
An elegantly marbled floor, white tablecloths, and a sparkling mirrored bar come together at L’Adresse to make for an ideal setting to impress business guests and out-of-towners. And the menu has something for everyone, from black truffle gnocchi to spicy tuna crispy rice.
Palermo Gramercy New York
Bring a friend here to try one of the many dishes for two. There’s picanha paella, tomahawk steaks, and parrillada all designed to be shared at this Argentinian steakhouse, amid a backdrop of white tablecloths and the occasional festive birthday sparkler.
Bhatti Indian Grill Murray Hill
Amid a stylish black and gold backdrop, Punjabi cuisine takes the spotlight. Specifically, its kebab culture, boasting 21 types of skewers alongside one of the best butter chickens in town. Pro tip: Don’t sleep on the wine list, courtesy of sommelier Doreen Winkler.
Tang by Mr. Sun Upper East Side
From the great minds behind Flushing’s Hunan House, Tang serves up a long menu of dishes like Peking duck, delicate lobster shumai, and creamy king crab udon. Pro tip? Don’t skip the dessert list.
Velma Tavern Ridgewood
Velma is not your average tavern — they happen to have a superb menu of Italian-American classics, from chicken parmigiana to grandma pies. The sprig of basil on top, so to speak, is the retro decor and skeeball machines. Don’t mind if we do.
Cantaritos Mexican Restaurant North Corona
It’s always a fiesta at Cantaritos, whether it’s with their all-you-can-eat tacos, Monday industry hookah nights, karaoke, or kitchen that stays open til 3 a.m. Do yourself a favor and order a bulldog. Or two.
Lokal Mediterranean Kitchen Upper West Side
Stuffed grape leaves, grilled branzino, and a long list of creamy dips are all on the menu here, where the open front windows and bright interior only add to the feeling that you’re on a beach somewhere, speaking Greek.
Temakase Williamsburg Williamsburg
It’s a Japanese hand roll and crispy rice bar that built an avid following by way of two Manhattan locations. In Williamsburg, the counter seats and neon lighting make even a quick bite feel like an event.
Kaiten Zushi Nomad NoMad
There are few things in dining that rival the novelty of conveyor belt sushi. There’s something about Kaiten’s rotating line of dishes and little robotic servers that make us feel like the future might not be so scary after all.
Antalia NYC Mediterranean Turkish Kitchen Midtown
The $37.50 prix-fixe dinner here may be one of the best deals in the area. Go for the tabouleh and the salmon in vine leaves, or maybe the lentil soup and a lamb burger. No matter what, it’s a delicious steal.
Jongro BBQ Market Midtown
The six most beautiful words in the English language: All-you-can-eat Korean barbecue. At Jongro, you can choose from a long list of beef, pork, chicken, and seafood, plus classic sides like cold noodles, bibimbap, and tteokbokki. Come hungry.
Rosehill Rooftop Kips Bay
Hot marinated olives, lemon sorbet, and a frozen cocktail are all we need. At Rosehill, a 70’s-inspired rooftop right near Madison Square Park, expect a year-round party complete with shareable drinks and views that just won’t quit.
IKON New York Inwood
It’s a Peruvian-Dominican restaurant with endless glittering, party-like vibes. Do yourself a favor and don’t skip the lomo saltado or the pistachio coquito. Once you’ve enjoyed your bounty, try to score a spot in the lounge for drinks and dancing.
Split Eights Financial District
Head here when you’re in the mood to tuck away for a while, with a cozy cocktail in an intimate space. We’re partial to the sherry cobbler with mandarin orange and pineapple, but you really can’t go wrong.
UNVEILED Williamsburg
Dance the night away underneath Williamsburg’s William Vale Hotel, where this nightclub, music venue, and bar hopes to give a truly high end experience. As such, no shorts or baseball caps are allowed, and be prepared for table minimums.
