If dining in Atlanta during the autumn season is your particular wave, you’re not alone — even if you’re decidedly a soloist when it comes to suppertime.
ATL truly becomes its full fall self in September. That famous overhead layer of trees will begin their metamorphosis from deep forest green to the reds, browns, and golds that make our city one of the most beautiful in America. And when a city is as pretty as Atlanta and the temperatures are finally survivable, there are all new reasons to get out there.
Just because we’re welcoming a new season doesn’t mean we’re out with established favorites. So this month we’ve got a mix of newly opened places like Wok Provisions, and plenty of gold-standard classics including the perennially list-topping steakhouse Kevin Rathbun Steak — restaurants whose excellence through the challenges of recent years have given them veteran status and kept us well-fed. Say hello to fall, and set yourself up with a reservation at any (or all) of the great restaurants below on September’s version of Resy’s Hit List.
