We should be long past the days of reminding ourselves to celebrate women in all areas of life, including and extending beyond culinary arts and hospitality. But of course we are still a global society that regularly forgets to give credit where it is long overdue. But at least, here in Atlanta, we have a community of food and beverage professionals that is not only well-represented by brilliant women from top to bottom.
Today and everyday, we’re celebrating the restaurants, and the women behind them, who shape the vibrant dining scene in the city, and around the country. These women know how to hustle and are changing the future of hospitality, one dish at a time. To mark the importance of supporting women-led restaurants, we’ve compiled a collection of some of the finest such restaurants in town.
