No shutdown mandate is going to stop a new restaurant from getting its French-inspired food, excellently curated wines, and perfected cocktails out to the masses. Just when you think there’s enough pizza in this town, you realize there can never be too much pizza. Located in a newish development on the border of Echo Park and Historic Filipinotown, Grá, which means “love” in Gaelic, focuses on everything fermented, from sourdough pizzas to pickles and natural wines. Keith Corbin and Daniel Patterson have hit a groove with their California soul-food restaurant in West Adams. The “valet” patio at the Silver Lake spot was a highlight (and a safe haven) during the summer.
