The Resy Guide to Thanksgiving in Los Angeles

In David Chang’s true East-meets-West fashion, Majordōmo is offering two different Thanksgiving feasts: One goes the more traditional route with a whole turkey and plenty of sides, enough to feed eight to 10 ($325). The other includes Momofuku’s beloved bo ssam, enough to feed four ($84.02). Order these for pick up on Nov. 25, Nov. 26, or Nov. 27.

You’ve only got until 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, to place your order for one of Lasa’s Thanksgiving meal kits ($38 to $65) featuring crispy pata, pancit, pies, and more, for pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Both locations of chef Antonia Lofaso’s The Local Peasant are offering a special holiday meal package ($95) for four people that you can pick up on Wed., Nov 25. Email alissa@thelocalpeasant.com by Monday, Nov. 23, at 12 noon to guarantee your order. The meal includes your choice of whole herb roasted chicken, peppercorn crusted New York roast, and multiple sides.

Pasjoli’s sister restaurant, the Michelin-starred tasting menu destination, Dialogue, might be closed now but this Thanksgiving, you still have a chance to taste what you might miss. The kitchens from both of Dave Beran’s award-winning restaurants are teaming up for an unforgettable Thanksgiving meal. Whole meal kits have already sold out but you can still order all the sides ($65) for pick-up on Nov. 25. Those include herbes de provence stuffing, black truffle gravy, cranberry sauce,  green bean casserole, potatoes gratin, fresh rolls, and an autumn market salad.

Update as of Nov. 23: It looks like everything is sold out for now, but you can still set a Notify, just in case something opens up.

Nerano is offering an assortment of Thanksgiving meal specials ($16 to $54/dish) for takeout that includes butternut squash ravioli, Italian chestnut soup, salmon filet, roasted chicken, and much more. We’re not sure what could be more enticing than a barbecued Thanksgiving meal cooked by chefs Josiah Citrin and Joseph Johnson. The menu packs a punch, from a cabbage roasted in the embers and a slow-roasted prime rib to a smoked turkey with wild mushroom stuffing. Reserve your takeout meal by buying a ticket here for $68.

One of the city’s finest wine bars and shops will be open for all your wine-related shopping needs on Thanksgiving Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. so you can peruse their collection of more than 250 selections. You can also place an online order for a Thanksgiving Wine Pack: Classic, Baller, All Reds, or Natty. These packs can be ordered for curbside pickup, local delivery, and select national shipping.

The classic steakhouse, recently reopened by chefs Hans Röckenwagner and Josiah Citrin, is serving up a classic Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu for $95 per person for takeout. Highlights include roasted pumpkin soup, pecan praline yams, and your choice of entree, including herb-roasted turkey with stuffing, a ribeye with peppercorn sauce, sand dabs in a lemon caper butter, and a vegetarian ravioli with porcini-herb jus. This beloved zero-waste restaurant is offering a special Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu for pick-up. The festive $49 menu includes a Mary’s duck stuffed with roasted apples, served with roasted Weiser Family Farms honeynut squash and brussels sprouts. You can pick up for Nov. 26 or Nov. 27. You can pre-order Kismet’s turkeys, sides, and pies for pickup on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25. Sides include spice-roasted kabocha, turmeric cauliflower gratin, Bub & Grandma’s bread pudding, cashew creamed spinach, brussels sprouts slaw, and Grandma gravy. Pie options are a pear pie and a cardamom walnut pie. Pre-order everything here.

For more than 50 years, this classic spot has served some of the city’s most soulful gumbo and Creole classics. This Thanksgiving, they’ve got you covered with filé gumbo pots, Cajun fried turkeys, and jambalaya. A variety of dishes and sides are available to pre-order for pick-up on Nov. 23, 24, and 25; orders must be placed at least three days in advance. Blue Streak’s at-home takeout feast includes a Diestel Family farm turkey that’s been brined in maple and rosemary, haricots verts almondine, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, and much more. Order for pick-up on Nov. 26 according to your party size: $175 for two to four people; $350 for six to eight people; and $700 for 10+ people.

Order online by 2 p.m. on Monday to reserve a Thanksgiving package for eight to 10 people ($495) for pick up on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The package includes a whole-roasted Mary’s Farm turkey (16 to 18 pounds), mashed potatoes, gravy, a pecan pie tart, and much more.

Wood & Water has multiple Thanksgiving packages for takeout: a turkey package for two ($95), a turkey package for four ($170), a turkey package that feeds eight ($275), and a prime rib package that feeds eight ($490). Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts’ beachside locale is offering a full take-home Thanksgiving meal, complete with a beer-brined roasted turkey, plenty of sides, and a pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert. Pre-order the kits for pick-up on Nov. 25 or 26. The entire meal costs $80 for two, or $225 for a meal that serves six. Sawtelle’s favorite Mexican restaurant and bar is serving up three standout mains for Thanksgiving, all available for pickup. There’s a Peking duck, whole roasted fish, or whole roasted chicken, each priced at $90. Place your orders here and be sure to use the drop-down menu to find the “Thanksgiving Dinner” menu.

You can pre-order ricotta toast, macaroni gratin, brioche dressing, parmigiano pancetta biscuits, and, of course, a whole bird, from Jame Enoteca and its newly opened sister restaurant, Ospi Venice. All orders must be placed by Friday, Nov. 20, and pickup is available from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at either restaurant (your choice) on Thursday, Nov. 26. The Venice location of Superba is taking Thanksgiving orders for groups of four to six and groups of 10 to 12. Mains include a whole roasted Mary’s young turkey or glazed Beeler’s heritage ham. Sides veer toward the classics, like a stuffing with sausage or a vegan one made with leeks, mac ‘n’ cheese, and green beans. There are also pies, breads, and plenty of wines, too. Openaire is offering a contemporary take on Thanksgiving to enjoy at home. The three-course meal ($68 for adults and $35 for kids) features dishes like a pumpkin fried wild rice, diver scallops, and Szechuan brussels sprouts and mushrooms. You can order delivery here.

If, by chance, you happened to miss out on placing a Thanksgiving catering order at Milo & Olive’s sister restaurants, Huckleberry or Sweet Rose Creamery, fret not. For the first time, Milo & Olive is hosing a Thanksgiving Bake Sale on Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. until they sell out. Expect to see favorites like spiced butternut squash meringue pie, vegan pear-cranberry jam bars, brioche pull-apart rolls, and jars of seasonal jams.

Ludo Lefebvre’s Parisian brasserie is selling Thanksgiving pies for pre-order. Choices include an apple pie with an oat crumble and a pumpkin pie with chantilly cream. Get your orders in before 10 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22 so you can pick up the pies on Nov. 24 or Nov 25 from 12 to 5 p.m. Place your orders here.

This casual Little Tokyo spot from chefs Vincent Valezona and Chadd Haratani is offering a full spread for pickup. There’s a full dinner set that serves eight to 10, as well as dishes like a free-range organic turkey, chive biscuits, and wild mushroom stuffing. Farmshop’s Thanksgiving offerings are an annual tradition and this year is no different in terms of the size and scope of their menu. Choose from an artisan cheese and charcuterie platter, whole turkeys that are oven ready or fully cooked, buttermilk biscuits, pies, and so much more. Westlake Village’s go-to restaurant is doing a special prix-fixe Thanksgiving menu for takeout, with free delivery. The takeout menu ($99 for two people and $195 for five people) includes porcini mushroom soup, baby kale salad, roasted turkey, and pumpkin cheesecake. The newest addition to the Great White family of restaurants, Great White Rotisseria, is doing a full Thanksgiving meal to order for pickup. It will include a whole natural rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, honeynut squash and corn, and a Munak Ranch tomato jam with some Rotisseria gravy.
