New on Resy: Palmar, Casa Florida, Blackbrick Chinese

Palmar is a casual Chinese restaurant in Wynwood that focuses on the country’s diverse cuisine. The menu includes a wide range of options for all appetites and palates—from snacks, rice dishes, and noodles, to staples such as char siu pork ribs. Pink booths and red lanterns set the scene for a shared meal of duck confit dumplings, rabbit-shiso egg rolls, soft-shell crab fried rice, and the like.

Casa Florida brings a relaxed, old-school Florida vibe to East Little Havana. Located outside, this is the place to come for tropical vibes, accented with spots of shade, thanks to Casa Florida’s towering palm trees. Make the rounds with a cocktail, glass of wine, or beer in hand, or grab a seat and order some snacks—the menu features grilled fish, meat, and veggies, courtesy of chef Matias Romano. And don’t miss the chance to climb inside of the 1965 GM bus parked on-site, which has been converted into a tiny café.
