Celebrating the Labour of Asian Women

This past year, most of the work in leading, celebrating, and rallying against anti-Asian racism has been led by Asian women. But often, this work is not seen – the labour of Asian women is often hidden from public spaces and undervalued. If we are to work towards an equitable future in food, restaurants and beyond, we need to start publicly acknowledging and celebrating that work. Here, we celebrate the labour of four Asian women in different parts of the hospitality industry, share their stories, and ask them how they're leading the way forward.
