The Resy Hit List: Where In Philadelphia You’ll Want to Eat Right Now

By

There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.

We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in Philadelphia: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.

Five Things In Philadelphia Not to Miss This Month

  • Flower Power: The Philadelphia Flower Show blooms for two weeks this month and restaurants are in on the floral action. Head to Bank & Bourbon in the Loews Hotel for themed cocktails like The Carnation, to McGillin’s for Flower Pot Pie (also a great stop for St. Patrick’s Day bites and brews), or to the all-day brunch at new Canopy by Hilton, just a couple of blocks from the show.
  • Comings and Goings: Andrew Wood, former owner of the lovely Russet BYOB, is the new chef at E. Passyunk’s Abruzzese specialist Le Virtú. Meantime, Neighborhood Ramen is closing in June as the owners prepare to open ESO Ramen Workshop in September and eventually make a big move to Japan. And you can always find recent openings on New on Resy.
  • Popular Pop-Up: Liz Grothe of the buzzy apartment-based supper club Couch Cafe has a lineup of pop-ups scheduled through summer. She’ll be doing themed dinners, like The Olive Garden Experience, in partnership with local chefs and restaurants. From March to May, she’ll also be cooking at Forîn Café in Kensington on weekends. Book it here.
