The Resy Hit List: Everywhere In L.A. You’ll Want to Eat in February 2024
There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.
We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in Los Angeles: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants in that you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.
Four Things In Los Angeles Not to Miss This Month
- Welcome to HLP! The sophomore edition of West Adams’ popular all-day spot Highly Likely has arrived in Highland Park, and this time, full-service dinner is in order. Nighttime highlights include yuzu kosho deviled eggs, harissa meatballs, and a seedy schnitzel, alongside wine and draught beer. Book here, and find more recent openings in New on Resy.
- Just In Time For February, Dulan’s on Crenshaw reopens, dishing their signature meatloaf, collard greens, and cornbread muffins in an expansive, revamped space. But wait: Genet Agonafer is also back, serving kifto and tibs to dining room guests at Meals by Genet, her lauded Ethiopian restaurant on Fairfax Ave. Two excellent reopenings going into Black History Month.
- It’s the Year of the Dragon and legendary Beverly Hills restaurant Crustacean is celebrating. On Feb. 10 and 11, the Vietnamese stalwart will serve special dishes: black truffle turnip cakes, wagyu puffs, and their famed garlic noodles laced with uni and edible gold, both a la carte and as part of an eight-course tasting menu. Book here, and find additional options on our Resy Events page.
- Winter in Los Angeles: Let red sauce and buzz be your cure. In other words: dine at La Dolce Vita, where a table in the clubby dining room is tough to nab, but wholly possible with advanced planning. Book at least three weeks out from your desired date, as maître d’ Christos Kalabogias suggests. After dinner, find Kalabogias on your way out to get your next reservation in the books.
