Chef Ron Hsu’s first, and very personal, restaurant is defined by its exemplary seven-course tasting menu, which reflects his Chinese roots, Southern upbringing, and honed French techniques. Note: If it’s more your speed, a four-course tasting menu is also offered on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

The precision the intimate nature of the whole sushi omakase experience is captured beautifully by chef J. Trent Harris. His training includes working at Shuko in New York City, as well as Sushi Ginza Onodera in Tokyo, and he fuses those experiences with his extensive fine-dining background to create a truly unique omakase experience.

Eclectic, buoyant, and fun, Banshee is an East Atlanta dining destination, where a team of Ford Fry vets cooks up artful and experimental dishes that pull from all over the globe. Beware of the pepperoni butter; it’s dangerously delicious.

Because acclaimed Atlanta baker Erika Council’s beloved biscuits emporium is just as excellent as ever. Come for biscuit sandwiches and brunch plates worth waking up for — and speaking of biscuits, don’t miss the black pepper bacon version.
