Vegas Is Back: The Sin City Hit List, Summer 2021

By

Vegas has come a long way since this time last year, when the Strip was a ghost town, with everything temporarily shuttered due to the pandemic. But in recent months, the buzz around Sin City has grown exponentially weekend by weekend, with a surprising number of visitors taking advantage of airfare and hotel deals — and making Las Vegas their first big vacation since pre-lockdown.

Many resorts — including Wynn, Aria, and the Cosmopolitan — were recently approved by the state to run their casino floors at full capacity due to most of their workforce (over 80%) being vaccinated.

That means Vegas is BACK and ready to become the entertainment capital of the world once again.

That means restaurants, too, where the big trend has been the return of large dinner parties, as private dining rooms are now regularly booked weeks in advance. The palpable buzz while walking on Las Vegas Boulevard is a sense of unleashed YOLOism. Saving money and bringing the kids on vacation be damned — it is time to relish in all that Vegas has to offer, which of course includes multiple days of epic feasting.
