Little Fatty, APL, Pizzana, Ceviche Project, and More: New on the Resy Hit List

This modern seafood shack is now an all-day drive-thru offering everything — clam chowder, lobster rolls, fried clams, shrimp po’ boys, fish and chips, and more — all to go. Take it to the beach, take it home, eat it in your car, whatever. It’s Malibu, after all.

From David Kuo’s Mar Vista kitchen to yours, get Chinese-American restaurant classics like orange chicken, braised pork belly, and walnut shrimp, along with Taiwanese staples like Sunday gravy (lu rou fan) and scallion pancakes. There are great cocktails to go from the Accomplice bar, too.

Create your own vegan beer garden at home with soft pretzels and beer “cheese,” meat-free schnitzels, currywurst — and of course beer. Everything from the Highland Park spot is available for takeout, as well as dining there.

The h.wood Group’s popular Delilah and The Nice Guy restaurants have created two ghost kitchen delivery-only offshoots: Lilah’s and Mama’s Guy. Lila’s features diner classics like chili topped with onions and cheddar cheese, chicken tenders, and burgers with onion rings. Mama’s Guy is all about Italian-American staples — chicken parm sandwiches, bake-at-home lasagna or baked ziti, and fries topped with meatballs, marinara and cheese.

Adam Perry Lang’s modern steakhouse is indeed more than just another steakhouse. For one, you can’t get a chili dog at most steakhouses. Or a chicken-fried bone-in pork chop sandwich, or that diabolically good smoked brisket. Now you can get Lang’s famous barbecue, dry-aged steaks, sandwiches, sides, comfort favorites like matzo ball soup, and so much more, to go.

Southern and soul-food classics done with an LA twist by chef Michael Reed, who’s brought his fine-dining chops to this cheery Downtown cafe. There’s everything from fried chicken and waffles, to brown rice grain bowls for breakfast and brunch.

Dining status: Order ahead for curbside pickup, or get delivery.

While the Atwater Village restaurant is open for dine-in service on the patio, takeout is still a great option. Let’s say meatballs, arancini, a couple of salads, rigatoni Bolognese, a pizza to share, and don’t forget cannoli for dessert, a jar of cocktails or a bottle of wine. Fried-chicken Mondays is also a thing.

Daniele Uditi’s Neapolitan-style pizzas are so good, you can’t only order one. Just make sure that one is the cacio e pepe pizza, a cheese-lover’s dream with provoloncino d’Agerola, fior di latte, Parmigiano crema and lots of cracked black pepper. Don’t forget a salad, maybe a little gem Caesar, and definitely dessert, all created by Sprinkles cupcake legend (and Pizzana co-owner) Candace Nelson. 

Dining status: Takeout and delivery are offered at both the Brentwood and West Hollywood locations.

It’s not quite the same as sitting in front of nattily dressed chef Octavio Olivas, but this jewel box cevicheria is now doing takeout on Saturdays and Sundays. Look for the brightly flavored shrimp ceviche, oysters, uni, beer and wines, plus pre-cut and packaged seafood should you want to DIY something at home.

Dining status: Pre-order for pickup only.

Staying home doesn’t mean you have to give up omakase. The Beverly Hills restaurant is serving a full multi-course experience, which includes appetizers, sushi, dessert, and optional sake pairing — all to be enjoyed at home. Although it’s takeout, chef Yasuhisa Ouchi doesn’t skimp on quality ingredients like Hokkaido uni, ankimo, toro, live box crab and more.
