Meet Melisse X Citrin. The latest version of Josiah Citrin’s venerable Santa Monica restaurant was barely opened long enough before the stay-in-place orders landed. But with his new take-home prix fixe menus, it’s like the chef is cooking for you at home. New menus are released every week and available for pickup on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. A recent one featured market greens with shaved vegetables tossed in truffle vinaigrette; the famous capellini with lobster Bolognese; and a duo of beef cheeks and filet mignon with potato puree.
