From July 22nd- August 16th, The Summer Seat by Amex ® Gold & Resy will reimagine the outdoor dining experience, giving diners the opportunity to snag the must-have reservation of the summer.
For a limited time, Bonnie’s (New York), Mi Tocaya Antojería (Chicago), and Lasita (Los Angeles) are partnering with acclaimed local artists to debut reimagined al fresco dining spaces via artist-led transformations, limited-edition menus, complimentary bites and beverages, custom gifts, and other curated touches inspired by the season.

About the collaboration: The modern Filipino cuisine and natural wine stalwart welcomes painter, muralist and designer Abel Macias, whose playful images make bold use of color and pattern—a perfect match for Lasita’s vibrant Chinatown setting.

About the collaboration: Chef Calvin Eng’s Brooklyn destination for modern reinterpretations of Cantonese American fare is partnering with Australian-Chinese artist Leon Zhan, who is using rice paper, porcelain, and bamboo to create a picturesque experience merging contemporary culture and ancient Chinese tradition.
Mi Tocaya x Benjamin Giska

About the collaboration: Inspired by Xochipilli (“The Flower Prince”), an Aztec deity linked to flowers, music, and artistic expression, artist Ben Giska will create a flora-filled multimedia experience evoking Mi Tocaya’s reverence for Mexican heritage with modernist flair.

Eligible Amex® Gold Card Members will get early reservation access to outdoor tables during the participating restaurants’ dinner hours. All guests in the outdoor space will have special access to a one-time-only à la carte menu, complimentary items, and gifts inspired by the restaurant x artist collaboration.
Reservation Details
Beginning on July 7th, 2026 at 11:00 AM local time, American Express® Gold Card Members will receive exclusive early access to outdoor dinner reservations for “The Summer Seat by Amex® Gold and Resy.” To access these reservations, an eligible American Express® Gold Card must be added to your Resy profile by adding your Gold Card to your payment method under your Resy profile settings. Reservations are limited, for outdoor seating only, vary by restaurant and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Should reservations not be booked by 11:00 AM local time on July 17th, 2026, all available reservations will then be available for booking by all American Express® Card Members and Resy Users.*

Beginning on July 7th at 11:00 AM local time, American Express® Gold Card Members will receive access to dinner reservations for “The Summer Seat by Amex® Gold and Resy.” To access these reservations, an eligible American Express® Gold Card must be linked to your Resy profile by adding your Gold Card to your payment method under your Resy profile settings. Reservations are limited, for outdoor seating only, vary by restaurant and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. “The Summer Seat by Amex Gold® and Resy” is an experience that is not available for indoor reservations. Should reservations not be booked by 11:00 AM local time on July 17th, all available reservations will then be available for booking by all American Express® Card Members and Resy Users. Reservations are subject to the restaurants’ respective cancellation policies, which can be found on their Resy venue page. Resy reserves the right to release reservations to other Resy users at any time. Payment using an American Express® Card is encouraged. Diners are responsible for paying the final bill, including taxes; gratuity is optional and not included.
To access these reservations through the Resy app, you must download the Resy app, or if you already have the Resy app, ensure the latest version is downloaded. When using the Resy Sites, create a Resy profile, or log into your existing Resy profile, and add your eligible Card.

Special menu items for “The Summer Seat by Amex Gold® and Resy” cannot be altered or substituted.
