Resy Presents The Franks’ Backyard Chef Series, Season III

Resy again partners with famed New York chefs Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli of Frankies Spuntino Group for its third annual dinner series, kicking off May 15, 2019

NEW YORK CITY (May 2, 2019) — Resy and the Frankies Spuntino Group are thrilled to announce the 3rd annual Franks Backyard Chef Series, a schedule of spring and summer events that see chefs of international renown descend on Frankies 457, in Carroll Gardens, to cook unique interpretations of cookout fare.

Guests are invited into The Franks’ backyard, a trellis-covered space evoking a secret garden, for intimate evenings during which The Franks and visiting chefs prepare their multi-course, collaborative menus live. In 2017 and 2018, tickets for these Brooklyn night affairs sold out in less than five minutes, cementing the series’ reputation as a New York classic.

For 2019, hosting chefs and Brooklyn pioneers Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli — The Franks — will welcome such diverse talents as Adeline Grattard of Yam’Tcha, one of Paris’ toughest tables; baking legends Chad Robertson and Chris Bianco, who recently launched Tartine Manufactory in Los Angeles; former Noma chefs Daniel Giusti and Kristian Baumann (Baumann is chef of the Michelin-starred 108, in Copenhagen); San Francisco star Brandon Jew, of Mister Jiu’s; plus local favorites Ryan Hardy, Nicolas Jammet, Greg Baxtrom, Laëtitia Rouabah,  Scott Tacinelli and Angie Rito, and the legendary team from Peter Luger Steakhouse.

Past years’ lineups have included:

Tickets start at $150 per person and can be purchased exclusively through Resy; a limited number of Season Passes ($1600) grant admission to all six dinners, plus chef meet and greets, signed cookbooks and exclusive swag. Each event begins with cocktails at 7:00 p.m. Pricing includes beverages and gratuity, and seating is communal.
